Postdoctoral Fellows:
We are not accepting applications at this time. In the future (late 2026), we may seek postdoctoral fellows interested in epigenetic gene regulation in the germline. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who wish to pursue innovative research projects. Current graduate students interested in joining the Namekawa Lab in the future (late 2026 or later) may contact Satoshi Namekawa (snamekawa@ucdavis.edu) to discuss potential opportunities. We consider applicants who have basic skills in molecular biology and bioinformatics (or are willing to learn bioinformatics).
Visiting Graduate Students:
We may accept visiting graduate students who are completing their thesis work and are interested in becoming postdoctoral fellows in the Namekawa Lab in the future. Applicants must have basic skills in molecular biology and bioinformatics (or be willing to learn bioinformatics). If you are interested, please contact: snamekawa@ucdavis.edu.
Graduate Students:
We are not currently accepting rotation students. We may accept rotation students from the IGG and BMCDB programs in the 2026–2027 cycle. We can only consider applications from first-year IGG and BMCDB students. We are unable to consider other applications.
Undergraduate Students:
he Namekawa Lab is seeking highly motivated undergraduate researchers to join our team beginning in May 2026. We are committed to training the next generation of basic scientists and providing early-stage undergraduate students with meaningful research experience in preparation for future Ph.D. studies. We are currently accepting applications for several undergraduate research positions.
