Postdoctoral Scholar:
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar. Our laboratory studies how epigenetic information is established in germ cells and transmitted across generations. Using mouse spermatogenesis and oogenesis as model systems, we investigate epigenome regulation, meiosis, gametogenesis, and genome regulation across generations. We are looking for a researcher to work on projects in germ cell epigenomics and epigenetic regulation. Experience with next-generation sequencing data analysis is preferred, but motivated applicants interested in learning these approaches are also welcome.
Qualifications: Applicants who expect to receive their Ph.D. soon, received their Ph.D. within the past two years, or are interested in applying for competitive fellowships are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants from any research background are welcome, provided they have basic molecular biology skills.
Start date: Flexible

We are seeking highly motivated undergraduate researchers to join our team beginning in November 2026. We are committed to training the next generation of basic scientists and providing early-stage undergraduate students with meaningful research experience in preparation for future Ph.D. studies. Undergraduate research in our lab requires a serious, multi-year commitment and is intended primarily for students who are strongly interested in pursuing a Ph.D. and a career in basic research. Priority will be given to students who are committed to gaining substantial research experience in preparation for a Ph.D. program, particularly those with skills or strong interests in computer science, bioinformatics, and the development of research projects using AI. Available projects include bioinformatics analysis and AI-based inference of gene regulatory networks, as well as wet-lab studies investigating epigenetic gene regulation in male and female germ cells.
We are looking for students who want to make research in our lab their primary commitment outside of coursework and who are prepared to engage seriously and consistently in laboratory activities. Students should not take on another major research, extracurricular, or employment commitment that would compete with their work in our lab.
